Conflict Negotiation is part of Tony Robbins Inner Strength Films with psychotherapist Cloe Madanes where Tony coaches the audience members to free themselves from their fears and take control of their lives.

This particular film is very strong due to the current leadership conference two days in Hawaii on 09/11/2001. The conference was attended by approximately 2000 people from 40 different countries (including 100 residents of New York) and everyone has different reactions to what happened around 3:00 Hawaii time. Some people cry. Some have lost loved ones or business in the attack. Some see it as no big deal - because this kind of thing happening in their country all the time. Some are celebrated, called the attack "retribution". Others fought among themselves.

Tony considered canceling the show that day but choose to support those who need it while addressing the different reactions and try to defuse the destructive emotions. He focused on the topic of emotional mastery and how each audience member has the ability to choose how they react to the day's events - in particular, how they answer the following questions: Who needs help? What to do now? What is in my control? What can I do now?

Initially, Tony worked with the entire audience, asking members to share how they feel. A woman reveals how she was uncertain about whether he wanted to marry her fiance. After the first day of the conference, he left his fiancee a voice message saying he was now committed to marrying her.
