Christmas Crackers When Its Not Christmas?

While Christmas is the holiday that pulls in the most crackers pulled, a favourite tradition, people also use crackers for other occasions. There are football crackers- designed in the colours of your favourite team. Or you can even have their logos printed on them! They're even filled with official merchandise gifts and sometimes a trivia question to see just how much you know about your favourite players.

A more creative variation is the musical concerto set of crackers. Once pulled, they contain bells that ring at different notes. On the upside you could conduct your own impromptu orchestra, but if you're not very good you could end up with utter chaos!

The company, much like Uniquely Crackers quality, made-to-order, handcrafted crackers, were "themed". There were ones for single men and women (a way to really celebrate Single Awareness Day, loud and proud!) with amusing gifts like wedding rings and false teeth. There were crackers made especially for occasions like coronations and even for people, like Charlie Chaplin.

And while they're now notorious for bad Christmas jokes, crackers originally had little love poems and notes in them- the perfect fun gift for Valentine's Day or even at weddings.

The cracker has even managed to set a record. The longest one in the world was made in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, UK on 20 December 2001, by the parents and children of Ley Hill School and Pre-School and it measured 63.1m (207ft) long and 4m (13ft) in width.

Crackers For All Occasions Crackers come in other themes as well. Feel like a Disney party? Well, you can throw one with matching Disney crackers, whether it's Disney princesses or Winnie the Pooh or any other Disney character. Know a friend who's obsessed with the High School Musical? Or the Simpsons? There's something for almost every movie or show. Want to delight your child with Toy Story crackers? All this and more are totally possible.

Halloween is another holiday that crackers are perfect for. The bang, followed by a scary gift (a plastic spider, a finger, go crazy!) are perfect for getting screams and laughs from children. And if you're feeling particularly special, you can order crackers by Tom Smith, the company that makes crackers for the Royal Family and really celebrate in style.
